Mr. Man
By: Joel C.
PG.1 Mr. Man was a hardworking guy and loved children. Mr. Man lived in an apartment in Bore-Ville. It was very boring here and Mr. Man had nothing to do except for his boring old job (typing reports for the company). So Mr. Man decided to take a break and walk in the park. Mr. Man opened the gray door of the gray apartment and started down the gray stairs. When he got to the bottom of the stairs he saw Mr. Attendant.
“Hello Mr. Attendant!” Mr. Man exclaimed cheerfully.
“Well hello Mr. Man how are you today?” He asked.
“I’m fine. So how are you?”
“Okay. Times are tough now-a-days.” Mr. Attendant replies.
“I hope they get better.” Mr. Man said walking out the door.

PG.2 Mr. Man looked up at the gray clouds as he walked to the park. Mr. Man walked until he found himself standing in a dead field that was once alive with green grass. It used to be his favorite place until his job got so demanding and he barely had any time to visit. As he walked along the familiar path he saw an oddly dressed woman who was walking in the opposite direction. She wore a purple pock doted dress. It would be easy to see her from a mile away because everything in Bore-Ville was dully colored.
Mr. Man greeted her with a big smile. “Hello. How are you today?”
“I’m great. My name is Miss Twinkle.” She responds giving him a firm handshake.
“Hello Miss Twinkle, my name is Mr. Man.” He says.
“Want to take a seat?” He says referring to a bench. They sat down together and talked for a long time. Mr. Man found out that she was new in town. When they decided to go home Mr. Man thought that he would visit the park tomorrow. If he saw her there he would ask her to a cup of coffee. That night Mr. Man went to bed happy as ever nestled down in his comfy bed.

PG.3 When Mr. Man woke up he finished a report that he had started yesterday. It was mid-afternoon when he finished the work, so he then decided to go to the park. He walked down the lobby, out the doors, and straight to the park. When he got to the park he saw no more bright clothes just the bright sun. Mr. Man walked around the park on the path twice before he sat down against a tree to wait and see if Miss Twinkle would show up. He almost fell asleep when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned to face Miss Twinkle.

PG.4 “Well hello Mr. Man.” She says helping him up.
“Hello Miss Twinkle. I was hoping I would find you here. Do you want to grab a coffee?” Mr. Man asks.
“Sure, that would be wonderful.” Miss Twinkle replies. Together they walked to The Coffee Shop and Mr. Man bought them a muffin and two coffees. They sat down and sipped their coffees while slowly eating the muffin. They talked about what was new and what they were doing. Mr. Man felt so warm inside that a fireball could have exploded inside him.
PG.5 After a while of hanging out with Miss Twinkle he decided to have her over for dinner. At first it was only on occasions that they would have dinner together or go out for coffee. As they started to hang out more often it became more natural and they started to see one another more often. One month after Mr. Man met Miss twinkle they started to date. They met in the park, at The Coffee Shop, and at restaurants. After 6 months of dating Mr. Man made the biggest step of his life. He proposed to Miss Twinkle… she answered YES!

PG.6 Mr. Man was so happy he could burst. Miss Twinkle seemed very happy too.
“I was waiting for you to ask!” She said almost crying from happiness.
“Well I knew now was the time so I just went for it.” Mr. Man said happily. In the next two days they were able to find a house one block from the park.
“I’m surprised we were able to find a house so quickly.” Mr. Man exclaims.
“I know we were so lucky.” Replies Miss Twinkle.
“Well many people have been moving out of Bore-Ville so it’s not a huge surprise. But we are lucky to be so close to the park.”
“Yes I know. I was thinking that maybe we can… adopt a child.” Mr. Man was in shock; he had wanted to ask her the same thing. They both had been big charity people but this would change someone’s life!
“Yes!” Mr. Man said choking over the word. The next day they went over to the adoption center. Together they picked out a little baby girl and named her Little Miss Miracle because of how gifted they felt. Mr. Man at that point became Mr. Dad and Miss Twinkle became Misses Twinkle.
